Update

After I reported on here that it read that there was a Microsoft Update, the next day I wanted to check it again. This time my default picture was gone and the primary phone was not detecting, but it detected the secondary phone. So first thing first. The default picture which is the Ford Logo was the only picture MFT had, so I got my SD card and checked to see if there was any other files that maybe MFT would not like. There was a couple of ini files and dat files that were from where I was cleaning the mp3 tags. I double checked that all my tags were placed correct. So now in my SD Card, I named it Blue One and the only files I had in there were .mp3 and .gif. I started the car and placed my .gif as the default and MFT indexed my SD Card and build the commands within a minute. And to my amazement when I used the voice activation it detected all my albums and played all with success with all the correct tags. I wish I could say it was the Microsoft Update that fixed this or that cleaning the SD card resolved the issue, but I couldn't tell you. As for the primary phone not connecting, I had to let the car go because the wife was late for work....yea another issue with MFT, it makes people late for work and appointments. But I told her at lunch she could take out the battery in her phone and then try it, but I believe it will work. I just hope MFT continues to work without issues before the major performance update gets mailed out.

I was dead set in buying a 2012 VW New Beetle once I saw the technology in it. But after seeing the 2012 Ford Focus and it's technology, that's when I switched. When I first bought the Focus I knew that I would have to do some configuring, just like if it was a new computer. Once I figured it all out, I was set. MyFord Touch is an easy to operate program. But it does have it's problems. I got everything to work, but it doesn't stay working. My main issue is using the usb and sd cards.

I had MFT with voice understand my commands and play my albums off the card. But I wanted to make it easier for Voice to take my commands, so I bought a faster card

SDHC Extreme Class 10 same 4GB, renamed the albums for easier recognition and named the SD Card to "Blue" then "WHACK" MFT wasn't able to read it the first time out. After doing a master reset and taking out the sync fuse, then it would periodically read or browse the SD Card but now it doesn't even recognize the album when I use voice activation. I've placed different cards, but now it tells me I have 2 "blue" devices and wants me to choose 1. Blue or 2. Blue. When I choose either one it goes back to sirius or the radio in which I was previously on. And oh yes, I used my 1st SD card that worked previous and it doesn't work. So I'm not sure what's going to happen.

Myford Touch Screen Freezes

Okay, this morning my wife calls and says myford touch screen didn't start and remained a black screen. She did the shut off and open door routine, but nothing. It was pouring rain and dark and she had to take off before she would be late to work. After 8 miles of driving the screen comes up partially and reads "Microsoft Update". This is the first I've ever heard of anything referring to a MS update. Why can't Ford or it's website "syncmyride.com" ever tell us what's happening. Everyday when I call they just tell me that they have my address and it will be sent to you by March 31, 2012. Come on now, just send it and I hope that will fix all the issues that I'm having with sync, before it causes us to have an accident.
